Spellit 1.0 This is a Kids Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2. The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. Spellit is a simple spelling program with digitized speech and sound. Cards are chosen at random; the object presented is spelled, and then the player can use either the keyboard or an on-screen button keyboard to correctly spell the name of the object. Correct spellings are rewarded with sound and animation. The program includes limited error correction and spelling help. Spellit also supports older macintalk speech synth if you have it installed. Spellit requires HC 2.1 To delete cards, display hypercard menu using command-spacebar and then choose delete card from the edit menu item. To add a card, choose add card from the edit menu and then paste in or import paint objects using hypercard paint options, or the scrap book. Make sure to choose 'card info' from the hypercard menu, and name the card for the object. The program script uses the name of the card for spelling reference.
