Kid's Game
This is, how did you guess it, a Kids Game
Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did
run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was
also tested on a big ColorScreen and a PowerMac. The
game did NOT run on a Quadra with 68040 processor and
a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1.
Only a mouse is needed to play Kid's Game! No keyboard
input is required. Have your child click the mouse
on any one of the six pictures on the left of the screen.
Then have your child click on the matching word on
the right of the screen. That's all there is to it!
The talking face at the bottom right of the screen
will inform your child as to whether the choice was
right or wrong. Clicking on the ARROW icon at the top
right of the screen cycles through
the "pages" of the game. The fully-functional
version has eight separate pages, each with six pictures.
Clicking on the FACE icon that appears next to the
ARROW icon opens up a
dialog that gives you talking face options. The fully-functional
version has six different faces, not just the elephant.
Your child simply clicks a face. The dialog will disappear
and the face your child clicked on will appear in the
lower right of the screen in place of the elephant.
The Options menu allows you to change the way the words
on the right of the screen are displayed. You may
choose uppercase or lowercase. So that your child does
not accidently bring up interfering Desk Accesories,
DA's have been disabled.
