Dinkum 2.1.2 This is an Adventure Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did not run on a b/w 68030 processor running under System 7.1, so try this one only on Macintoshes running under System 6. No guarantee. This is a Macintosh port of the Australian text adventure game 'dinkum', version 2.1.2. The game was written by Gary A. Allen, Jr. (gary@sun.mech.uq.oz.au) and the sources are available from Usenet's comp.sources.games. The Macintosh version was generated from the original sources (with very slight) modifications using MPW, MPW C, and the SIOW library. Due to the use of '32 bit everything' it probably won't work on processors < 68020. (BTW - Gary is not keen on the Mac but he has kindly given me his permission to upload this Macintosh port - please e-mail him and say thanks if you like the game. The MPW MakeFile and Mac-related patches to the sources will be included in future distribution of the source code, hopefully.) Back to the Computer Games Index
